This is the full policy. The short version: Kinetopia does not have a server. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or with any third party. Everything in this document is to make that explicit.
Kinetopia is an iOS application published by Cole Williams, an independent developer. Contact: contact@kinetopia.org for general questions or support@kinetopia.org for support.
From you, on your device:
From Apple frameworks, on your device, with your explicit permission:
From us: nothing. Kinetopia does not contain analytics SDKs, crash reporters, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or any third-party software that observes you. The compiled app does not contain networking code that sends data to a server we operate, because we do not operate any servers.
Two places, controlled by you:
If you authorize Apple Health, completed workouts (and their GPS routes, where applicable) are also written into the Health database on your device. Apple's terms govern that data once it's in Health.
| Category | Status |
|---|---|
| Account or login | Not collected — Kinetopia has no accounts |

| Name and demographics | Stored on your device only |
| Analytics events | Not collected |
| Crash reports | Not collected |
| Advertising identifiers (IDFA) | Not requested or used |
| Diagnostic identifiers | Not used |
| Cookies / tracking pixels | None — the app is not a web app |
| Contacts, photos, microphone | Never requested |
Kinetopia uses three Apple frameworks: HealthKit, CoreLocation, and CloudKit. These are part of iOS itself — they are not third-party companies receiving your data on our behalf. We have no Software Development Kits (SDKs) from any company other than Apple. There is no Facebook, Google, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Firebase, Sentry, PostHog, Branch, Adjust, or any other analytics or attribution service in the app.
Kinetopia is a paid app sold through Apple's App Store. The purchase transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your name, email, payment method, billing address, or any other personally identifying information about purchasers — only aggregated, anonymized sales reports that show how many copies sold in which country.
Because Kinetopia stores no personal data on our infrastructure, most "right to access," "right to deletion," and "right to portability" requests are things you control directly on your device:
Kinetopia is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data at all, this is structurally true regardless of who is using it.
Local data is protected by iOS's standard application sandbox and disk encryption. CloudKit data (if you enable iCloud sync) is protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption for HealthKit-class data, and by standard CloudKit encryption otherwise — both governed by Apple's iCloud security model. Because we have no servers, no databases, and no APIs, there is no "Kinetopia data breach" surface area to worry about.
Kinetopia is available worldwide on the App Store. Because no data leaves your device under our control, no cross-border data transfer occurs on our end. iCloud transfers (if you enable sync) are between your devices and Apple's iCloud infrastructure, governed by Apple's privacy policy.
The data Kinetopia writes to Apple Health and Apple iCloud is governed by Apple's own privacy practices once it reaches those systems. See apple.com/legal/privacy for Apple's full policy.
If we change this policy materially, the effective date at the top will be updated and the change will be summarized here. If a change reduces your privacy protections, we will require fresh consent in-app before any new collection occurs.
